These won't crack under heavy use.

These are made "very hefty" out of 4140 heat treated steel.
"With all parts I make using 4140 Steel, I heat treat them to 45 or better Rockwell Hardness"!

These Adapters are totally new and revolutionary in design.
These new adapters will BLOW OUT OF THE WATER every other adapter you have ever seen.
No other cannon manufacturer makes these adapters like Canton Cannon Works does.

Ok Folks, you already have read some of the details. Here's "the rest of the story"!

I start by enlarging the breech to accept these new adapters. The breech has now been bored out to 3.250 inches deep and 2.000 inches and 2.500 inches in diameter with a flange depth of .375. The Adapter Diameters are going to be 1.995 inches in diameter. Its flange is 2.480 inches in diameter and
.370 inch thick. The actual length of the Adapter is going to be 3.240 inches total.

These diameters are important. I have accounted for expansion once the adapter starts to expand due to the heat generated by the explosion of shells. There should be room to remove and replace these adapters as needed once they heat up a bit.

Adapter Inserted Into The Breech

The Allen Head Bolt that you see on the top
of the breech locks down the Adapter
which has a half moon milled pocket
in it that matches the Bolt.

Unseen is a Keyway which is milled into the Adapter
which mates with a adjustable Hardened Pin which
is located inside and at the at the bottom of the
Breech Adapter Chamber.

The Pin and Keyway Assembly locates the
Adapter which enables the Lock Down
Alllen Head Bolt to be correctly
aligned with the Adapter Lock
Down Pocket.

With a 12 gauge cannon there are no adapters made for it.

With a 10 gauge cannon order, you will get a 10 gauge and a 12 gauge adapter.
The price of these adapters for a 10 gauge cannon is = $400.00

With a 8 gauge cannon order, you will get a 8 gauge, 10 gauge and a 12 gauge adapter.
The price of these adapters for a 8 gauge cannon is = $500.00

With a larger cannon order, you decide what size adapter(s) you would like to have.
The price of these adapters start $200.00 each.

These prices are very reasonable considering;
1). How much money you are going to save by using smaller shells on occasion.
2). How much time it takes to machine out these modifications.
3). How versatile your cannon is going to be.

Please Be Aware
Its a good idea to place your adapter order at the time you order your Cannon, or a few days afterwards.
This way, I can schedule in the machining time that it takes to make these modifications and
make your adapters. These Adapters also get heat treated. When I send in other parts
that need heat treating, I can also send in these Adapters at the same time.
